The draft EIR is expected to be complete by winter of 2006.
ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES: The PEA examines issues such as: marine & terrestrial biological resources, water quality, hazmat assessment, geology and soils investigation, power supply alternatives, seawater and brine conveyance system, basin storage and recovery system, source water and receiving water hydrodynamic modeling, marine and terrestrial biological resources, cultural resources, surface drainage water quality and a preliminary geotechnical investigation. An independent, qualified advisory panel will review all data.
